Mega Man Legacy Collection Announced!

The Complete NES Mega Man Collection

Capcom dropped the news on Mega Man’s official social media,  the Legacy Collection will include Mega Man 1 to 6, which are all existing main line Mega Man games on the NES.
The Legacy Collection will be arriving to the Play Station S4, PC and Xbox One this summer, the 3DS version is set to follow later in the winter.

Mega Man Anniversary Collection
back on the GCN, PS2 and Xbox.
Mega Man Legacy Collection will not only include the classic games in an HD render, but it’ll also include unlockables like artwork and sketches, and features such as challenge mode, leaderboards and replays, at the moment is unknown if this’ll be part of a bigger Mega Man celebration, like a second part collection or a brand new game, Capcom is yet to reveal any other Mega news, and with E3 just around the corner we just might hear of something soon.
The strange part about this bundle is that it’s lacking many games that previous Mega Man Collections included, for example, Mega Man Anniversary Collection, back on the GameCube, PS2 and Xbox, included Mega Man 1 to 8, Mega Man: The Power Battle and The Power Fighters, four games more than this collection, and even following the theming of this collection, which is 8-Bit Style Mega Man, is missing Mega Man 9 and 10, which marked the return of Mega Man to that same art style.

Sonic the Hedgehog’s Archie Comic Series is the longest running and most successful comic book series based on a video game character, so it’s no surprise that Sonic is actually a pulling force in this area, with previous cross overs with other Sega series, adaptations of games, and his previous cross over with the blue bomber himself.

The event will start May the 27th, and will feature characters from multiple Sega and Capcom characters from across different franchises, such as Street Fighter, Viewtiful Joe, Ghosts n’ Goblins, and the previously mentioned Sonic the Hedgehog, Mega Man, and Mega Man X.
