Super Smash Bros. Update Coming July 31st

Tournament mode, Stages, Mii Costumes, and more!

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U & 3DS will get a massive update with new content for players around the globe.
This new update will be arriving July 31st (Confirmed for Japan and Europe) and is set out to include the following:
Hyrule Castle

Super Smash Bros. 64 Stages

Many Smash players have been there from the very beginning, day 1, back on the Nintendo 64, so it should come as no surprise that the new game’s been getting some nostalgic love with classic stages.
Kongo Jungle and more recently, the DLC stage, Dream Land (64, not to be confused with the 3DS Stage of the same name).
The new stages revealed to be returning from the N64 are Hyrule Castle and Peach’s Castle, arguably, two of the most popular stages back in  the original Smash, particularly Hyrule Caslte.
Peach’s Castle
There’s no official price yet, but we’re speculating that their price tag will be the same as it was for Dream Land (64), $1.99 for either one version of the game, and $2.99 for the bundle of the two.
Tournament Mode
Tournament mode was announced to finally return to Super Smash Bros. with new online features like user-made tourneys and tourneys made from Nintendo staff.
It’s noteworthy that there’s no sign to weather or not the 3DS version will be getting tourney, we believe it’ll be coming but don’t want to hype you in vain.
Chrom from Fire Emble
Mii Fighter Costumes

There’s also a handful of new costumes for the Mii Fighters to wear, including Chrom from Fire Emblem Awakening for the Mii Swordsman, King K. Rool from the Donkey Kong series for Mii Brawler, and new Smash-themed sweaters for all, Gunner, Swordsman and Brawler.

Star Fox Zero, ToZ: Triforce Heroes, Mario Tenis Wii U, Mario Maker, Xenoblade Chronicles X and much more!

Nintendo’s Direct conference was held today and brought with it all kinds of news. Fans are
always exited when games like Star Fox Zero and Mario Maker are shown, but what else has
   Nintendo prepared for us today?

Star Fox Zero
Shigueru Miyamoto talks about some of the new feautures the game will have, including the multiple transformations of the airwing and the optimized controllers they prepared with the gyro sensors of the gamepad. All the levels of the game can be played with different vehicles, which increases the options of the players and motivates them to replay the levels.
The Legend of Zelda: TriForce Heroes
TriForce Heroes is a 3 players co-op game that focuses on teamwork rather than competitivity. Some new features include game mechanics like the Totem mode and the different dress-up abilities the heroes acquire.
Hyrule Warriors Legends
Hyrule Warriors will be brought to the 3DS along with all the DLC characters that were included in the Wii U version and a few new ones from the Wind Waker.
Metroid Prime Federation Force

About Carlos

Carlos was introduced to the gaming world at an early age, starting with the Nintendo 64 as his first console. Playing games like Paper Mario, Mario 64 and The Legend of Zelda made him specially addicted to RPG and adventure games, which created his obsession of always exploring under every single rock on the modern games (and occasionally, on real life too).

Hyrule Warriors 3DS Accidentally Announced!

Koei Tecmo Might Have Brought Us E3 Too Early

Koei Tecmo released a trailer through their official YouTube account for what seems to be a 3DS port of last year’s massive hit, Hyrule Warriors on the Wii U. The trailer shows new gameplay, exclusive features for the port, version differences, cross compatibility, and more!

The 3DS game features gameplay. characters and stages from the Wii U game, though it does have a graphical downgrade. not too different from the Super Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS situation, but at the time being, we don’t know if this game will suffer from cut content just like Smash did because of the 3DS. The game will feature characters from the Wind Waker, such as Tetra and the King of Red Lions, they’ll both be transferable to the Wii U version, though we don’t know if they’ll also be available as DLC.
Unfortunately, Keoi Tecmo has since made the trailer private, making it impossible to view at the moment, but we believe it’ll be available soon. although the trailer’s link has been made private, presumably will be available after Nintendo’s E3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2L8Cfafrvc&feature=youtu.be

Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice Announced

The Latest Sonic Game Is Coming to the 3DS!

Sonic Boom is back on Nintendo’s handheld, after the moderate critical and commercial reception of the previous entry on the 3DS, Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystals.
It’s noteworthy that there’s no Wii U game announced, at least at the time of announcement.

Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice for the 3DS is “coming soon”, we’re guessing later this year, and it seems to follow a similar formula to the previous title, with the addition to the fire and ice gameplay feature.
You can watch the announcement trailer below:

It comes as no surprise to learn it’ll be the same day as the release of Lucas and the Miiverse Stage, we can expect news on characters, stages, costumes and maybe even new modes that’ll become available for the game.

It’s noteworthy that rumor has it that Masahiro Sakurai himself will be hosting the event.

Mega Man Legacy Collection Announced!

The Complete NES Mega Man Collection

Capcom dropped the news on Mega Man’s official social media,  the Legacy Collection will include Mega Man 1 to 6, which are all existing main line Mega Man games on the NES.
The Legacy Collection will be arriving to the Play Station S4, PC and Xbox One this summer, the 3DS version is set to follow later in the winter.

Mega Man Anniversary Collection
back on the GCN, PS2 and Xbox.
Mega Man Legacy Collection will not only include the classic games in an HD render, but it’ll also include unlockables like artwork and sketches, and features such as challenge mode, leaderboards and replays, at the moment is unknown if this’ll be part of a bigger Mega Man celebration, like a second part collection or a brand new game, Capcom is yet to reveal any other Mega news, and with E3 just around the corner we just might hear of something soon.
The strange part about this bundle is that it’s lacking many games that previous Mega Man Collections included, for example, Mega Man Anniversary Collection, back on the GameCube, PS2 and Xbox, included Mega Man 1 to 8, Mega Man: The Power Battle and The Power Fighters, four games more than this collection, and even following the theming of this collection, which is 8-Bit Style Mega Man, is missing Mega Man 9 and 10, which marked the return of Mega Man to that same art style.
You can watch the official Mega Man Legacy Collection Announcement Trailer here:
Are you excited for this collection? Or are you hoping it’s part of something bigger for the blue bomber? Please let us know in the comment section bellow.
