Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice Announced

The Latest Sonic Game Is Coming to the 3DS!

Sonic Boom is back on Nintendo’s handheld, after the moderate critical and commercial reception of the previous entry on the 3DS, Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystals.
It’s noteworthy that there’s no Wii U game announced, at least at the time of announcement.

Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice for the 3DS is “coming soon”, we’re guessing later this year, and it seems to follow a similar formula to the previous title, with the addition to the fire and ice gameplay feature.

Sonic, Mega Man & X Meet Once Again in the Comic Book Event: Worlds Unite

Sega & Capcom Unite to Bring the Biggest Video Game Cross Over in Comic Book History!

Sonic the Hedgehog’s Archie Comic Series is the longest running and most successful comic book series based on a video game character, so it’s no surprise that Sonic is actually a pulling force in this area, with previous cross overs with other Sega series, adaptations of games, and his previous cross over with the blue bomber himself.

The event will start May the 27th, and will feature characters from multiple Sega and Capcom characters from across different franchises, such as Street Fighter, Viewtiful Joe, Ghosts n’ Goblins, and the previously mentioned Sonic the Hedgehog, Mega Man, and Mega Man X.
You can read the official announcement over at Sonic the Hedgehog’s Official Facebook Account.

Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric – One Week Early, Plus a Look at the Box Art

Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric Out November 11th in North America.

Sega has announced through Sonic’s official Facebook Page that Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric for the Wii U will be coming out November 11th, 2014, same date as its 3DS counterpart, Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal, and they’ve also shown us for the first time the Box Art of the game, at least for North America.
What do you think? has Sega changed the date so it’s further apart from Super Smash Bros. for Wii U? or merely to coincide with it’s 3DS brother? Tell us what you think on the comment section below.
