Ubisoft E3 2015 Press Conference showcased the line-up of Ubisoft games coming through 2015, 2016 and maybe even 2017.
Here’s the full list of the games and news showcased in the press conference.

South Park The Fractured But Whole

The sequel to South Park the Stick of Truth, will follow a similar concept of you being the new kid who just moved to South Park and going into adventures with characters from the show.
This time, however, the theme won’t be about magic and medieval knight, instead, it’ll be about Super Heroes.
For Honor

For honor, a new franchise that clashes different eras of warriors, has a slow, but weighty combat that makes every move count.
There is 4v4 online multiplayer gameplay from one clan, say, Vikings, Samurais, etc. against another one, and the objective is to eliminate the enemy.
The Crew
The Crew has new content coming, unfortunately, all we know at the moment is that it’ll expand on the game and that you should be expecting it soon.
Trials Fusion Awesome Level Max
This game will be an over-the-top experience where you are a cat holding a gun, riding a fire-breathing unicorn.
Trials Fusion Awesome Level Max will be coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC this July.
Tom Clancy’s The Division
We talked about this game in our Xbox Press Conference Review, but we learned now too that there’ll be a mode called Dark Zone, where you can make teams of 4 people and search for loot and other goods,
In the Dark Zone, you’ll be meeting with other teams that you can either make allies with, or fight them trying to get all

their loot.

Tom Clancy’s The Division will be available March 8th, 2016.
Anno 2205
A city building game not too different from the likes of Sim City, Anno 2205 is set on a futuristic time where people try to inhabit the moon.
The game will be coming out this November.
Just Dance 2016
Not much is new in Just Dance, other than the new songs, and a new mode where you can take your smartphone and use its camera to capture your moves, for this feature you’ll need an app that’ll be available at the App Store.
The bigger news about Just Dance 2016 is that it’ll have the option to get Just Dance Unlimited, a subscription service where you’ll be able to stream new songs on a monthly fee, this service will be available for Wii U, PS4 and Xbox One.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege has Terrohaunt, where you can engage on teams of four or go solo.

Not much else was announced about the game at the moment, more said to come this Wednesday.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate takes place in Industrial Revolution London, where you are fighting to give the people back their land.
All we were shown was a CG trailer that by the way, featured Noel Gallagher’s The Heat of the Moment.

The plot of the game is that you’ll be taking down drug cartels in multiple ways depending on your choice, weather you’d like to go stealth or with an aggressive approach, is on you.
However, the game is still in Pre-Alpha, which means the game will be prone to change in the upcoming months.

Bethesda E3 2015 Press Conference

Fallout 4, Doom,  Elder Scrolls Online & more!

Bethesda kicks off the live press conferences at E3 2015 with a gallery of upcoming games and gaming news, with their most important and recognizable IPs on the table.
Here’s a comprehensive review of the live press conference from Bethesda for E3 2015, including announcements, important moments, and most importantly the highlights.

The presentation started with employees presenting themselves then proceeded to introduce the presentation itself, then there was a collage of different upcoming games from Bethesda.
Doom
Bethesda started things off showing your favorite first person shooter with demons, gallons of blood and gory deaths.
Doom is a lot more technology-based than the first few ones, but unlike later entries in the series, it keeps the demonic atmosphere on the enemies. It’s very gory and violent so fans of the series will be very pleased with it.
A lot of melee combat was shown, where the player ripped members off the demons and sliced them in half with a chainsaw.
Interaction with the environment will be a big part of the game, weapon picking, and of course there was shotgun gameplay, where you complete destroy the monsters on your way.
Mixing and matching weapons and playstyles seems intuitive enough, making the game incredibly fast paced and heart pouding.
Multiplayer of the game will not be too different from the multiplayer of  other FPS games, but the arenas and the multitude of play styles and themes like technological facilities in Mars and Hell will probably mix things up enough to keep you interested.
SnapMap is an in-game tool that has map-building that you can customize and create new maps and make new modes, you’ll be able to share them with people all around the world.
By the end of the Doom section of the presentation, they showed gameplay in Hell, the Demons’ home, where they showed a desolated area, sort of like ancient ruins where you feel alone against waves and waves of demons that you shoot, rip apart and slice through with a variety of weapons and styles.
The demons jump, run, and scream at you, just like they should, and you destroy waves and waves of them, like you should, all in all, it just might be the triumphant return of the series into the genre that it basically started.
Bethesda.net
It’s a system where gamers from different consoles will be able to comunicate and share content, it’ll be available all around Bethesda games, already been used for SnapMap, Elder Scrolls Online.

Battle Cry
Online action game centered around team combat, it works similar to a beat-em-up, but it has a lot of depth, it seems, with different classes, alliances, with more to be announced in the future.

Dishonored 2
The game seems to follow the dark atmosphere from previous game. It will have a lot of parcour in it. it seems, stealth, combat, and use of special abilities. It also mixes the classical themes with futuristic technology.
All in all, it seems like it’ll deliver exactly what it promises, a sequel to the hit game, Dishonored. The game will be coming to PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
Dishonored
Is being remastered for PS4 and Xbox One with additional content, it’ll be called Dishonored Definitive Edition.

The Elder Scrolls Online
A new expansion has been anounced for the Elder Scrolls Online, not much has been said at the moment, but more is promised on the way.
The Elder Scrolls Legends
An upcoming strategy card game for iOS and PC, will be a Free-To-Play game that will probably follow a similar formula from existing games.
Fallout 4
The presentation of the game seems to have a lot more color, contrary to Fallout 4, which had a green hue similar to Arkham Asylum.
The attention to detail in this game is off the charts, with incredible diversity in the art of the different areas of the game, the different characters and monsters.
From post-apocalyptic to an utopia, the diversity and vast experiences is incredible.
The game will start with your character in the mirror, where you’ll be able to customize your male and female characters.
It has been confirmed that the game starts off before the nuclear war, on a peaceful, sunny day, until the explosion does happen.
You survive the nuclear attack, and some events happen after this, you then wake up after 200 years of sleep on a special vault, and wake up on a post-apocalyptic world, where you are the sole survivor.
You’re also given a lot of choice, where key moments of the game will change depending on what the player does and what he chooses to follow.
All in all, the amazing attention to detail, the possibilities and options given are incredibly vast, making it the most interesting and intriguing game of the presentation.
Accompanying the game, there’ll be a second screen experience with a mobile app and a piece that resembles the Smart Watch from the game. The game will come out for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Building in the game is very intuitive and complete, it reminds us a little to Sims, Animal Crossing, and other popular Life Sim games.
It features customization, attacks from other alliances, and you’ll be able to make your own houses, shelters, settlements, and your own allies and friends.
The game will be coming out November 10th of the present year.

Fallout Shelter
A mobile game where you make your own vault, and you are in charge of keeping your people safe and exploration, the resources, it’s not too different in concept to other life games like Sims City, etc. It’s a cartoony and campy take on the Fallout concept.
It’ll be a Free to Play, no paywalls, no wait times, it’s completely free other than some extras available. It’s available starting tonight, so why not give this game a go?

Mega Man Legacy Collection Announced!

The Complete NES Mega Man Collection

Capcom dropped the news on Mega Man’s official social media,  the Legacy Collection will include Mega Man 1 to 6, which are all existing main line Mega Man games on the NES.
The Legacy Collection will be arriving to the Play Station S4, PC and Xbox One this summer, the 3DS version is set to follow later in the winter.

Mega Man Anniversary Collection
back on the GCN, PS2 and Xbox.
Mega Man Legacy Collection will not only include the classic games in an HD render, but it’ll also include unlockables like artwork and sketches, and features such as challenge mode, leaderboards and replays, at the moment is unknown if this’ll be part of a bigger Mega Man celebration, like a second part collection or a brand new game, Capcom is yet to reveal any other Mega news, and with E3 just around the corner we just might hear of something soon.
The strange part about this bundle is that it’s lacking many games that previous Mega Man Collections included, for example, Mega Man Anniversary Collection, back on the GameCube, PS2 and Xbox, included Mega Man 1 to 8, Mega Man: The Power Battle and The Power Fighters, four games more than this collection, and even following the theming of this collection, which is 8-Bit Style Mega Man, is missing Mega Man 9 and 10, which marked the return of Mega Man to that same art style.
You can watch the official Mega Man Legacy Collection Announcement Trailer here:
Are you excited for this collection? Or are you hoping it’s part of something bigger for the blue bomber? Please let us know in the comment section bellow.

Mighty No. 9 Gameplay Trailer Released!

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, a spiritual successor to Castlevania

Koji Igarashi sets to revive the gothic side-scrolling platformer
Following the steps of Mighty No.9 and Yooka-Laylee, Bloodstaind:Ritual Of the night starts a kickstarter foundation and gets to the goal pretty fast, people seem to have missed a good Castlevania game and it looks like we are finally getting a spiritual successor.

The kickstarter for Bloodstained is one of the most in detail ones we have seen for a game, it goes as far as to giving characters backstory, elements and mechanics of the game, and all the people and teams in charge of specific areas.

This kickstarter is the first one to have a “Special Backer edition Physical Copy”, this kind of games have always planned a digital release but Bloodstained give you the chance to pledge $60 dollars and receive a physical copy, is this going to be a new trend among kickstarters? Well you can still get the digital one for $28 bucks which is not bad at all

We can see here in the image on the left each of the rewards you can get for the amount of money you pledge to the kickstarter.

This game looks to be a lot of fun and a return to the classic we love, we haven’t gotten a game like this for a long time but the wait is now over, at least for 2 years or so.

Be sure to check the kickstarter for yourself and watch the great pitch that Koji igarashi made for it which can only increase your excitement for the game.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China Gets a Launch Trailer

The game comes out April 21st.

Back on September last year, Ubisoft announced that they’d be releasing the first in a series of Download-Only, Sidescroller titles for the franchise. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China follows the story of Assassin Shao Jun, in 16th Century China.

We prevously met her in Assassin’s Creed: Embers, an animated movie that served as a closure to Ezio Auditore, the main character of the Assassin’s Creed 2, Brotherhood and Revelations.
The gameplay doesn’t seem like something we haven’t seen before, it’s a 2.5D sidescroller that reminds us of the popular Metroidvania formula; popular examples of this are Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Super Metroid, and the more recent Batman: Arkham Origins: Blackgate.
The title will be download-only, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The next titles in this series include Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India and Russia, already announced for the same platforms as ACC: China.

What do you think of this new “Chronicles” series in the Assassin’s Creed franchise? Let us know in the comments.

TVG Review: Mortal Kombat X

Mortal Kombat X Review

Mortal Kombat X is out now and the game is as fun as you imagine it to be; If you are a fan of this series you will for sure love this one, it has the classic fast passed bloody gameplay with new and bloodier “x-ray” attacks and imaginative fatalities, and if your are a newcomer to the series you will most definitely have fun with this over the top fighting game.

The gameplay feels smoother than ever in the current gen consoles and the “kombos” are not that hard to learn and perform, although if you want to be a pro or learn every fighters combos you will spend some time learning all the mechanics and tricks there are to the game. One thing I like a lot about the game is that they took the stage interactions from Injustice gods among us, which is developed by the same company, and added them to this game, but don’t worry if you like a more classic MK you can always turn them off.

The graphics of the game are nothing too crazy or revolutionary but in the MK series it has never been about that, it’s more about how crazy can they get with the fatalities and how they handle the story, this game does both of those things right. The fatalities are crazier and bloodier than ever; although I couldn’t help but notice that they always include something to with the head, with that said there is not one that looks similar to another. Talking about the story, without any spoilers, it picks up where mortal Kombat 9 left and it is as good as always, anybody can enjoy the adventure and have a kick at it.

Content wise the game futures a 24 roster character selection, which is smaller than the last instalment and it does feel a bit small especially if you play a lot of big roster fighting games like Smash Brothers or the Naruto series. The game doesn’t have that many modes, although you only really need the story, versus, and online, but it does add this new “clan” system called “Faction Wars” in which you play online and win points for your faction and receive various rewards based on how you and your faction did, I think this mode really can add much more replay value to the game and that is always appreciated.  The game futures in game DLC which is always frustrating and considering the amount of content it is not on the cheap side, comparing it to different great dlc like smash bros or Mario kart 8.

All in all the game is a lot of fun, it is a great addition to the series and always a different fighting game you can have. Fans or the series, fans of fighting games, I think anybody can have a blast playing it and I do recommend checking it out or getting it if you are hesitant whether to get it or not.
