Back on September last year, Ubisoft announced that they’d be releasing the first in a series of Download-Only, Sidescroller titles for the franchise. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China follows the story of Assassin Shao Jun, in 16th Century China.
We prevously met her in Assassin’s Creed: Embers, an animated movie that served as a closure to Ezio Auditore, the main character of the Assassin’s Creed 2, Brotherhood and Revelations.
The gameplay doesn’t seem like something we haven’t seen before, it’s a 2.5D sidescroller that reminds us of the popular Metroidvania formula; popular examples of this are Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Super Metroid, and the more recent Batman: Arkham Origins: Blackgate.
The title will be download-only, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The next titles in this series include Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India and Russia, already announced for the same platforms as ACC: China.

The music videos available on the site include the Main Theme of the game, Gaur Plains, Mechanical Rythm, Engage Enemy, and You Will Know Our Names. All fan-favorite themes that will surely please your ears.
Many Xenoblade Chronicles’ fans have expressed their love for the series’ music. Some of those songs were made available with the release of the Super Smash Bros. Special Offer CD on Club Nintendo for buyers of both versions of the game, but now Nintendo has decided to release a set of 5 videos on the official webpage.

Mewtwo’s Finally Back to Nintendo’s All-Star Fighter. the first of many to come.
Today, Club Nintendo has begun sending the download codes to owners of both the Wii U and 3DS versions of Super Smash Bros. from all around the world, so they can once again, they’ll fight as the Legendary Pokémon himself in Smash!
A couple years ago, if you asked Smash Bros. fans and Brawl players who did they miss the most from Melee, you were very likely to hear the name Mewtwo.
Mewtwo’s moveset isn’t too different from his Melee incarnation, but he has of course been balanced to fairly work wi
th the Wii U and 3DS games. His special moves in particular, are design-wise identical to their previous versions, with only a few tweaks and overall sped-up from their GameCube versions.
If you weren’t one of the lucky ones to register both copies of the game on Club Nintendo, you’ll be able to buy and download the fighter on April 28th of this year for $3.99 for either the Wii U or the 3DS version or $4.99 to play it on both.
Mortal Kombat X is out now and the game is as fun as you imagine it to be; If you are a fan of this series you will for sure love this one, it has the classic fast passed bloody gameplay with new and bloodier “x-ray” attacks and imaginative fatalities, and if your are a newcomer to the series you will most definitely have fun with this over the top fighting game.
The gameplay feels smoother than ever in the current gen consoles and the “kombos” are not that hard to learn and perform, although if you want to be a pro or learn every fighters combos you will spend some time learning all the mechanics and tricks there are to the game. One thing I like a lot about the game is that they took the stage interactions from Injustice gods among us, which is developed by the same company, and added them to this game, but don’t worry if you like a more classic MK you can always turn them off.
The graphics of the game are nothing too crazy or revolutionary but in the MK series it has never been about that, it’s more about how crazy can they get with the fatalities and how they handle the story, this game does both of those things right. The fatalities are crazier and bloodier than ever; although I couldn’t help but notice that they always include something to with the head, with that said there is not one that looks similar to another. Talking about the story, without any spoilers, it picks up where mortal Kombat 9 left and it is as good as always, anybody can enjoy the adventure and have a kick at it.
Content wise the game futures a 24 roster character selection, which is smaller than the last instalment and it does feel a bit small especially if you play a lot of big roster fighting games like Smash Brothers or the Naruto series. The game doesn’t have that many modes, although you only really need the story, versus, and online, but it does add this new “clan” system called “Faction Wars” in which you play online and win points for your faction and receive various rewards based on how you and your faction did, I think this mode really can add much more replay value to the game and that is always appreciated. The game futures in game DLC which is always frustrating and considering the amount of content it is not on the cheap side, comparing it to different great dlc like smash bros or Mario kart 8.
All in all the game is a lot of fun, it is a great addition to the series and always a different fighting game you can have. Fans or the series, fans of fighting games, I think anybody can have a blast playing it and I do recommend checking it out or getting it if you are hesitant whether to get it or not.
Lauro started playing video games at a very young age, and it doesn’t seem he is going to stop any time soon, having a preference on arcade games he spends most of his free time playing all kinds of games ranging from simple mobile games to 300-hour games.

Maybe the Squidlings will make the cut?
The system is quite simple, you enter the site and are asked for your gender, then, which character would you like in Smash, the title of the game he or she is from, and finally, why you think this character should make it to the game.
It is unkown if certain characters will be not taken into account, like the Ice Climbers or Ridley, as they’ve been cut from the game for different reasons, or characters that currently are Assist Trophies (Like Waluigi and Shadow the Hedgehog) or Pokémon from the Pokeballs (Such as Metacross or Fennekin). We don’t know if third-party characters will be taken into account either.
You can vote for your favorite character right here.
Who will you choose? Let us know in the comment section bellow.
